CARDFLIP ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of the CardFlip platform and services. This AUP is incorporated by reference into CardFlip’s Terms of Service. By using CardFlip, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.
1. PERMITTED USES
CardFlip is designed for lawful personal and commercial resale activities. Permitted uses include:
• Creating marketplace listings for physical items you own and have the legal right to sell • Using AI identification and pricing tools for items in your possession
• Connecting your personal eBay, Etsy, Whatnot, or other marketplace seller accounts
• Using batch scan and sequential scan to process multiple items you own
• Using the Market Screener for research and pricing intelligence
• Managing your collection and listing history through the Collection tab • Using the Service for a legitimate resale business operated by you
2. PROHIBITED USES — MARKETPLACE INTEGRITY
The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination:
• Creating listings for items you do not own or do not have the legal right to sell
• Listing counterfeit, replica, or unauthorized reproduction items on any marketplace
• Creating fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive listings including misrepresenting item condition, authenticity, or description
• Listing items that are prohibited or restricted by eBay, Etsy, Whatnot, or any other connected marketplace
• Using CardFlip to facilitate the sale of stolen goods
• Creating listings for items that violate any applicable federal, state, or local law
• Manipulating marketplace pricing algorithms or engaging in shill bidding through listings created by CardFlip
• Using CardFlip to violate eBay’s Verified Rights Owner (VeRO) program or infringe on intellectual property rights • Listing items containing illegal content including items that depict child exploitation or promote violence
3. PROHIBITED USES — TECHNICAL AND SYSTEM ABUSE
• Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code, AI prompts, or algorithms from the CardFlip platform
• Using automated scripts, bots, or scraping tools to interact with the Service beyond normal user activity
• Attempting to circumvent scan caps, subscription limits, or plan restrictions through technical means
• Sharing account credentials with others or allowing multiple people to use a single account simultaneously • Creating multiple accounts to circumvent scan limits or access restrictions
• Attempting to access other users’ accounts, data, or listing information
• Uploading malware, viruses, or malicious code through the Service
• Attempting to interfere with the Service’s infrastructure, servers, or database
• Using the eBay OAuth connection to access eBay data beyond what is necessary for listing creation
4. PROHIBITED USES — CONTENT
• Uploading photographs that depict illegal activity, nudity, or content that violates marketplace content policies • Using CardFlip to process, list, or sell items that are illegal to sell in your jurisdiction
• Creating listings that constitute harassment, discrimination, or targeted harm against any individual or group • Using AI-generated listing descriptions to misrepresent the nature, condition, or value of an item
5. AI AND DATA USE RESTRICTIONS
You may not use the CardFlip Service to:
• Attempt to extract, replicate, or reconstruct CardFlip’s AI prompts, pricing algorithms, or system logic • Use the Service to train, fine-tune, or develop competing AI models or marketplace listing tools
• Systematically collect, aggregate, or store marketplace data obtained through the Service for purposes outside of your own personal listing activity
• Reverse engineer or reconstruct CardFlip’s card identification methodology, batch scan detection algorithm, or computer vision implementation
6. REPORTING VIOLATIONS
If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, or if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, please report it immediately to support@cardflipapp.com. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
7. ENFORCEMENT
CardFlip reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP. In response to a violation or suspected violation, we may: (a) issue a warning; (b) temporarily suspend your account; (c) permanently terminate your account without refund; (d) report the activity to law enforcement or marketplace platforms; or (e) take legal action. We will cooperate fully with law enforcement in any investigation of illegal activity conducted through the Service.
